Prices are launch drive-away offers (July 2026) and may have changed; carsales shows indicative drive-away prices of about $47,700 to $57,600. Ranges are claimed on China's more lenient WLTC test, not WLTP, so expect less; energy use is our estimate. Motor and controller warranty is 5 years / 200,000 km, and logbook servicing is free for 3 years / 100,000 km. At launch there was a single dealer, in Mitcham, Melbourne.

Reliability, warranty and downtime
Cavan is a new brand here (a Foton sub-brand with its own importer) and launched with a single dealer in Melbourne. Check where you can get it serviced and repaired before you buy.
For a business, the kilometre limit matters more than the years: a van doing 30,000 km a year uses up a 160,000 km warranty in about five years. How to cut downtime risk.
